Bulk Truck and Transport Service, Inc. is in its thirty-first year of building propane delivery trucks and is now one of the largest builders in the United States. In those thirty-one years, we have seen many changes. In the   beginning not much thought, if any, was given to the chassis. Basically, we installed the tank on the chassis, plumbed it, painted it and we had a delivery truck. Today that has all changed. One must be aware of the importance of matching the right chassis with the right size tank, and take in other considerations, such as the terrain, weight distribution, engine horse power, torque, differential ratios, transmission, axle and spring ratings, and above all, be familiar with all the Federal and State Regulations that apply to the state or country in which it will be operated.

    B T & T prides itself in building delivery trucks that comply with all of the above mentioned items. Today we have trucks in all fifty states, with the exception of Hawaii, plus many foreign countries. We manufacture MC331 vessels from five hundred gallons through fifty six hundred gallons, and refurbish all size tanks and transports. We hold both an ASME R and U stamp. The U stamp allows us to manufacture the vessel and the R stamp allows us to do repair work on the vessel.

    With our in-house computer database, we can have a quote on any unit, on your desk, usually within two to three hours. The only exception being on some specialty chassis. The most popular chassis, such as Sterling, Freightliner, Kenworth, GMC, Peterbilt and International are in our data base. If you choose to purchase your unit from B T & T and buy your chassis from a local dealer, B T & T will be happy to work with that dealer to insure that the chassis is ordered to fit your needs. B T & T stocks a variety of competitive priced chassis if you should choose to purchase one from us. We also have the capability of building the unit and shipping it without a chassis, as long as we have the manufacturers specifications for the chassis that it will be installed on. This is commonly done in foreign sales.

    Today, B T & T has units in the field that are giving their owners more than twelve years of service with normal care and maintenance. Our aluminum, stainless and steel decks are built with 3/16 plate and heavy duty subframes built of the same material as the deck itself. All of our units, new or refurbished, carry a one year warranty on both parts and labor. The chassis is covered by the manufacturers warranty.
